The course "An Introduction to the Evolution of Iranian Cinema" was held in Japan with the efforts of the cultural advisor of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the course "An Introduction to the Evolution of Iranian Cinema" was conducted on 22th of October with the presence of Hossein Divsalar, the Iranian cultural advisor in Tokyo and a group of interested people to Iranian culture and civilization with the collaboration of Iran Embassy in Japan in the center of Iranian cultural advisor, Tokyo.

Hitoshi Suzuki, a professor of the university, mentioned various periods of Irans cinema before and after the Islamic Revolution. He also presented some information about the cinema evolutions especially changing the Iranian filmmakers perspectives towards meaningful cinema.

He also described the cinema before and after the Islamic Revolution, and in the next round of the program mentioned the cinema before and after the imposed war, and then the developments of the cinema at present.
