The photo exhibition of "Baysonghor Shahnameh" was opened in Pushkin library in Shymkent which was attended by Masood Sheikh Zeinoddin, Irans Cultural Advisor.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the photo exhibition of "Baysonghor Shahnameh" was opened on October 24 that was attended by Masood Sheikh Zeinoddin, Irans Cultural Advisor, Mrs. Shahrbanoo Sielova, Director of Pushkin library in Shymkent, Norouz Ghaffarpour, Head of Iranian Cultural Center, along with cultural officials of Shymkent and Iranians residing in the South Kazakhstan Region.
Mrs. Shahrbanoo Sielova in her speech has expressed her interest in developing the cultural relation between the two countries and said: "We are now ready to hold another exhibition of Iranian cultural works in this library, next year."
Sheikh Zeinoddin Thanked the officials of the Pushkin Library and the Iranian Cultural Center in organizing the exhibition and said: "As different ethnic groups live peacefully together in Kazakhstan, we hope that by organizing this exhibition, we could influence and introduce Irans civilization and the culture of Iranian residing in Kazakhstan.
Irans Cultural Advisor in Astana has announced the willingness of cultural advisory for further participation in cultural events, especially these exhibitions.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, he was interviewed by Kazakhstani television networks, and described the developing cultural relations between Iran and Kazakhstan.
In the course of this ceremony, a volume of Ferdowsis Shahnameh (translated by Tour Mohammad Ezzat Oli) in Kazakh along with 20 other books on Iranology, Persian literature and childrens literature in Russian, were donated to the Museum.
