The round table discussion about "A Cultural Role in Strengthening Iran-Syria Relations" in the framework of the Iranian Cultural Weeks program was held in Tartus, Syria.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Within the framework of Iranian cultural weeks program which conducted with the effort of cultural advisor of Islamic Republic of Iran in Tartus, a round table discussion about "The Role of Culture in Strengthening Iran-Syria Relations" was held on Monday (October 23rd) with the presence of Seyed Mohammad Hossein Hashemi, Cultural Deputy of The Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and a group of local and elite Tartus officials were held at the venue of the Arabic Cultural Center in Tartus.
Muhanna Muhanna, the secretary of the Syrian Baath Partys in Tartus Branch, in his speech at the ceremony, firstly mentioned that he is appreciating the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran alongside the Syrian people and government. He said: Western, Zionist and Arab media are massively and misleadingly campaigning to destroy Irans reputation. And they portray bad images of Iran in the minds of the audience to prevent Iran from communicating with other countries governments and nations, including Syrians.
Muhanna Muhanna, with referring to his visit to Iran, added: "What is publishing by some media about Iran is inaccurate, unreal and false. On a trip to Iran, I found that Iran has progressed in various fields of science, technology, culture and art.
