“Literary Thoughts of Khayyam” meeting held in Istanbul

The "Literary Thoughts of Khayyam" meeting has been held at the center for Persian language learning and Persian literature of Istanbul.

According to the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), with the efforts of Iranʼs cultural affiliate in Istanbul, the first of a series of meetings with the subject of "Khayyam and his toughs" was held on December 15th at the center for Persian language learning and Persian literature of Istanbul.

Mina Ranjbari, an instructor of the center referring to Khayyamʼs biography said: "Khayyam believed that secrets of creation are hidden from us and no matter how much we talk about it, it would have no depth and we are going to understand how little we knew, when the curtains fall."

She added: "it seems that Khayyamʼs philosophical views and questions were also concerns of other Philosophers and thinkers and were not exclusive to Khayyam."

Then a question and answer session was held and participants shared their views and asked questions.

In line with these series of meetings, the next session with the title of "creation from Khayyamʼs view and in Anatoli" will take place on 27th of December.

According to this report, the center for Persian language learning and Persian literature of Istanbul tries to introduce Persian language, literature and culture by focusing on Iranian literature giants and holding literary meetings in the form of "speech lessons" for advanced learners.
