Displaying of Iranian women artists in the Philippines

The works of Iranian artist women were shown by the Cultural Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Philippines.

According to the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), these works of art were exhibited with the birth of Hazrat Zahra and the commemoration of the motherʼs and womenʼs day at the ceremony along with the play of the national anthem of the two countries.

Mrs. Belmonte, head of the National Park of Philippines  spoke at the ceremony and  thanked for the Iranian cultural conference in Manila in order to hold the exhibition, saying: "The art of Iranian women and its offering in the Philippines National Park is a new step towards the promotion of the culture of the two countries and the acquaintance of the two countries with the culture, customs and people of Philippine and Iran.

Referring to her studies of ancient Iranian art and culture, she added: "Iran is a rich country in terms of artistic diversity and is very beautiful and I am interested in organizing various exhibitions of other artworks of this Islamic country in Philippine.

Mrs. Belmonte also described the exhibition as a symbol of cultural cooperation between the two countries of Iran and the Philippines and said: "If we can expand the exhibitions in the future, this will be a factor in better understanding of the culture of the two countries".

She said: "I hope we can work together, especially in the women"s sector, In the rehabilitation of women to attend the community and show them the status of women in the community". Mr. Jafari malek, a cultural advisor in our country, said: "Iranian art is one of the richest and most diverse collections of human cultural heritage that is currently live and vibrant.

He added: Ghalibafi, miniature painting, and pottery of the mosaic are examples of Iranian arts, created by women artists of Iran to display in the Philippines.
