Iranian handicrafts on display in diplomatic exhibition in Tunisia

Iranian Stand in the Diplomatic Handicrafts Exhibition in Tunisia, attracted large number of visitors.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (IRCO), through active Participation of Iranian Cultural Attaché Office in Tunisia, Iranian Diplomatic Mission to this North African nation took part in the exhibition, arranged for showcasing of art and cultural objects by various embassies.

In this annual event, cultural artifacts being kept in each embassy are put on display for only one day to show them to Tunisian people interested in art and cultural works.

This year, Iranian Cultural Attaché Office showcased numerous art and cultural handicrafts of our country, such as various type of hand woven carpets, paintings, posters and illuminated manuscripts.

Presence of an Iranian Musician and calligrapher, Mostafa Mahjoub who plays an instrument called Tanboor and is a renowned calligrapher, by playing his Tanboor and creating marvelous Calligraphic works while people were watching him, was the added attraction of Iranian Stand in this year"s exhibition.
