40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution;

Iranian Cultural Night was held in Paris

On the 40th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution, the Iranian Cultural Night was held in Paris by initiative of Iranian Cultural Mission in France.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the event took place at the National Art and History Institute of Paris and a large number of Iranian and French people attended the gathering.

A leading academic, Ms. Leyla Anvar, the distinguished professor at National Institute of Eastern Cultures and Civilizations of Paris University spoked about beautiful features of connection between poetry and Music in mystic literature and Molavi"s (Molana Jalal ad-Dian Mohammad Balkhi Rumi), works in particular.

The writer and expert of Iranian ancient Persian language while talking about the old history of Persian literature said Molana and Saadi were almost contemporary and both were in search of love and Truth and poems of these two renowned Iranian poems are full of rhythm and musical elements.

Following the literary speech by this well-known Iranian scholar, a group of Iranian musicians performed for the audience and some poems from Saadi nad Molana with French Translation, were   narrated.
