Iranian and Pakistani Quranic institutions to expand their cooperation

In a meeting between founders of Pakistani Holy Quran Foundation and Head of Iranian Cultural House to Karachi, Bahram Kian, two side called for promotion of cooperation between Quranic institutions of two countries.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Pakistani officials Seyyed Ali Johar and Seyyed Khavar Reza and Bahram Kian exchanged views on ways of boosting interactions and cooperation between institutions dealing with Quranic Issues in Iran and Pakistan.

 Seyyed Khavar Reza briefed the person in charge of Iranian Cultural House to Karachi on the activities of Pakistani Quranic Foundation in promoting Quranic sciences and said the institution was established in 1995 and that right from the beginning they have been in touch with Iranian Cultural House and have worked together.

He added that currently there are 42 centers across Karachi teaching various Quranic sciences to students and reeducation of teachers.

This Pakistani Quranic activist said we hold Quranic exhibition, print the Holy Quran and release educational CDs.

He called for cooperation with Iranian Cultural House on areas of holding specialized courses for teaching the Holy Quran, Quranic competitions and exchange of Holy Quran reciters.

Bahram Kian for his Part said the Holy Quran is the linchpin connecting world Muslim community to each other and spoke of Iranian Cultural House readiness to cooperate with Pakistani side for promotion of activities in respect to the Holy Quran
