The Iranian documentary "Mehrabad- Narita" unveiled in Japan

 Iranian documentary film "Mehrabad-Narita" made by Amir Bashti was screened at the Ferdowsi Hall of Iranian Embassy in Tokyo.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Iranian Ambassador to Japan Mr. Rahmani Movahed and a number of his colleagues and Iranians residing in Japan watched the documentary found it very interesting.

Iranian Ambassador speaking after screening of the film, thanked those who have contributed for making of this film and called Iranian filmmakers to make another documentary about success and influence of Iranians on relationship between Iran and Japan and said Mehrabad- Narita 2 should be made to explore the condition of Iranians currently living in Japan.

Then, the filmmaker Amir Bashti talked about efforts made for making the said documentary and thanked all of those who be involved in making of Mehrabad- Narita documentary. He then answered questions raised by the audience about the film.

Iranian embassy and Iranian Cultural Mission in Tokyo have also been involved in production of this film which narrate the arrival of first group of Iranians to Japan for work in 1990s.
