Iran and Japan to expand their cooperation on modern arts

Iranian Cultural Attaché to Japan has reached agreement with concerned Japanese officials on promotion of bilateral cooperation on modern arts.

According to Public Relation Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Iranian Cultural Attaché to Tokyo in a meeting with Ms. Ayako Nagata, the person in charge of a provincial art museum and Ms. Tsuyoshi ozawa, lecturer of Art University of Tokyo discussed bilateral cooperation and introducing of Iranian arts in the provincial art museum as well as preparation for production of a documentary on art potentials and capabilities of Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iranian cultural representative to Tokyo and two Japanese art scholars during their talks discussed the role and influence of the renowned Japanese writer, poet and play writer, Professor Terayama Shuji who had valuable activities in Iran specially on performance art and the need to conduct a research work about this prominent Japanese figure and Iranian Cultural Attaché, Mr. Divsalar promised to cooperate with such initiative.
