Iran and Greece to expand media Cooperation

 

 

In a meeting between Iranian Cultural Attaché to Athens and President of Greece Internet TV channel C4B.TV, both sided stressed the importance of media cooperation between the two countries.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), during the meeting between Ali Mohammad Helmi and Nicholas Samaras a leading journalist and media activist who also heads the C4B.TV channel, they discussed the prospect for media cooperation between Iran and Greece and underlined importance of historic and cultural ties between the two nations which dates back to more than 2000 years.

The Greece media activist who also heads the Greece - Swiss Friendship Society said in today world and amidst rapid political and social developments, exchange of information is of vital importance adding that face to face meetings and discussions, holding cultural events and exhibitions has a great role in reaching common understanding of international events and developments.

Iranian Cultural Attaché to Greece said our main asset is culture and cultural values that theses days some western powers unfortunately by disregarding such values as Justice and independence seeking, try to impose their greedy policies on other nations.

Ali Mohammad Helmi said we hope that our cultural relations and cooperation to flourish as before adding that we can help our people to have better understanding about each other.
