Iranian Cultural Attaché meets Lebanese Tourism Minister

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Mr. Khameyar expressed his pleasure for meeting Lebanese Minister of Tourism and extended the official invitation of Islamic Republic of Iran to Mr. Kidanian to pay a visit to Iran and become acquainted with Iranian tourist attractions.

The Iranian Cultural Attaché talking about the important role and position of tourism industry on development of countries and large number of Iranian and Lebanese tourists called for promotion of tourism ties between Iran and Lebanon which will contribute to economy of two nations and introduction of each sides culture and civilization to people of the two countries.

Khameyar while referring to signed agreement between Tehran and Beirut on tourism and cultural cooperation called for implementation of such agreement and elaborating on tourism potentials of two countries said Iran can invite Lebanon as special guest to tourism exhibitions so that country"s culture, history and tourist attractions and religious sites to be introduced to Iranian people and vice versa.

The Lebanese Tourism Minister talked about pleasant time he has had when attending the 10th Tourism exhibition in Iran in 2017 and welcomed the invitation and promotion of cultural ties between the two countries.

Avedis Kidanian said each country can provide the other party with films of their tourist attraction to be aired by their TV channels to provide an opportunity for people to become familiar with each other cultural, historical and tourist attractions.

 He promised to do whatever he can to increase the number of tourists visiting each country and holding meeting between concerned officials to promote cultural ties and holding of joint exhibitions by tourism companies.

He invited Iran to take part at the forthcoming Lebanese tourism exhibition due to be held in February and said he knows that there are possible problems on the way but added as I am determined to make this happen.

 The Lebanese cabinet Minister said Iran, despite all sanctions has been able to meet whatever it needs from within the country and after China is the second industrial country that has made considerable progress in various sectors.
