Seven Iranian major publishers are due to attend forthcoming Turkmenistan International Book Fair.
According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), through the efforts of Iranian Cultural Mission to Ashgabat and upon the invitation extended by the government of Turkmenistan, 7 major Iranian publication houses will attend the said book fair due to be held on Nov.5-6.
The invited Iranian publishers are: Beh Nashr, Al-hoda, Matn, Jadeh Abrisham, Bustane Ketab, Mashhad Ferdowsi University and a provincial publisher from city of Gorgan named Makhtomgoli Faraghi.
In addition to Islamic Republic of Iran several publishers from other countries including Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Republic of Azerbaijan, France, Kazakhstan, Poland, South Korea, Albania , Turkey, The United States of America,, Romania , Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and China will take part at the 13th International Book Fair of Turkmenistan. This will be the first time for Participation of Iranian Publishers at the Ashgabat book fair and Iranian Cultural Mission to Turkmenistan will have an active presence at the said cultural event.
On the sideline of the book fair a scientific gathering titled: "Book a Means of Cooperation and Progress" will be also held and speakers from several countries including Islamic Republic of Iran are invited to this gathering.
Turkmenistan International book Fair is considered as an important cultural event by the government of the country that intends to hold it annually in a glorious manner in order to make Turkmen students and university lecturers, as well as the general public, acquainted with the latest published books in the world and promote book reading habit among its people.
