In a huge gathering of Muslims in Thailand, held to discuss killing of Martyr Qasem Soleimani in a terrorist act by US government, it was said that Washington has committed a new war crime by killing Iranian top general.
According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Iranian acting Ambassador and Cultural Attaché and a large number of Thai Muslim Scholars attended the gathering which was started by screening the assassination scene of Martyr Soleimani and his funeral procession.
Speakers talked in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and condemnation of the crime carried out by US government.
A well known expert on middle Eastern Affairs and Chairman of the gathering, Elyas Kiatitarai in his opening remark said resistance and struggle are among divine teachings and added that since the beginning of human history there have been tyrants and oppressors and messengers like Muses have fought against the Pharaoh by divine order.
He went on saying that the divine teaching remains valid today and indifference against oppressors and oppression is not permissible.
Several academics and scholars also condemned US government for carrying out such a brazen crime of killing Iranian top general Haj Qasem Soleimani and the need for Muslims Unity to confront Washington"s bullying.
They referred to Martyr Soleimani as a hero who played a leading role in destroying DAESH.
A former Thai lawmaker talked of Trump as a criminal and said the reason behind US animosity with Islamic Republic of Iran, is its fear from Islamic Revolution.
