The Head of the Caucuses Muslim Administeration calls US President to lift sanctions against Iran

The Head of the Caucuses Muslim Administration, Sheik al- Islam Hajollah Shakor Pasha Zadeh has written a letter to US President Donald Trump and asked him to lift sanctions imposed against the Iranian people.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organizations (ICRO), the Head of the Muslim Administration of the Caucuses region, who is also the Secretary of the International Center for Inter-religious and Civilization Cooperation, responding to the letter by the Chairman of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Mr. Ebrahimi Turkaman to world religious leaders, has called for lifting of sanctions against Islamic Republic of Iran.

In his letter to Trump, Sheik al- Islam Hajollah Shakor Pasha Zadeh, while referring to the importance of peaceful coexistence, has said moral and human values because of tensions and conflicts, have deprived the world from it true essence and that"s why at the present circumstances peaceful coexistence and cultural of understanding among nations and religions have become much more important.

This prominent religious figure in his letter to President Trump has recalled concepts such as compassion, mercy and humanity, advocated by the divine religions has pointed out that under this difficult time for human being because of the Coronavirus crisis, solidarity and humanitarian ideals have become ever more important.

 He has further added that under the critical condition faced by the entire world because of Coronavirus pandemic depriving Iran from access to medical equipment and medicine will cause much more pain on Iranian people and urged the US President to lift the sanctions against Iranians immediately.

Following the letter sent by the Chairman of Islamic Culture and Relation Organization to world religious leaders urging them to intervene for lifting of sanctions imposed by the United States against Iran, a number of such leaders have written letters to President Trump and asked him to take necessary action to end such cruel sanctions.
