The opening ceremony of the International Exhibition of "Contemporary Art" paintings, showcasing the works of Isabel Salari, a young Iranian painter living in Italy, was held in the Italian city of Spello.
According to the Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Communication (ICRO), following the official invitation of Isabel Salari, Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Italy, Mohammad Taghi Amini, traveled to Spello to attend the opening ceremony of the International Painting Exhibition Artists.
During the visit, Iran"s Cultural Attaché in Italy met with Moreno Landini, the mayor of Spello, to discuss cultural relations between the two countries and the prospect for future cultural and art cooperation.
Amini talked about the historical relations between the two rich and ancient cultures and civilizations and the common historical roots and cultural commonalities that emanates from these relations
Iranian Cultural Attache elaborated on the cultural orientation of the comprehensive relations between the two nations, which is aimed at promoting mutual understanding, as a way out of the crisis caused by the sanctions.
Referring to the dominant spiritual aspects of Iranian art and its roots in the wisdom of ancient Iran and the Islamic era and the mystical approach of this art, he briefly introduced the Iranian-Italian artist participating in this exhibition.
Amini continued his speech by explaining the structure of the current cultural cooperation between the two countries and its main areas, and announced his readiness for future cultural cooperation, which was welcomed by the Mayor of Spello.
On the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the exhibition, he gave an interview to a provincial network "Umbria", during which he described Iran"s cultural diplomacy in Italy, the status of cultural relations in the structure of comprehensive cultural relations between the two countries as the most important area of cooperation.
At the conclusion of the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition, a memorial was presented by the organizers to the Iranian Cultural Attaché.
Salari, on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran, participated in the recent painting exhibition, which took place in the form of the Great Art Festival of Spello, Italy, with the participation of dozens of artists from 17 countries in the fields of painting, photography, decoration, music, etc. It will be held until Sep. 9.
it should be mentioned that; abstract paintings by Isabella Salari, a young Iranian-Italian painter (born in 1998) for the first time, was showcased as the works of the youngest talented painter participating in the history of the exhibition "One Hundred Painters" (Margutta) in Rome in its 9th exhibition and since then her works has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in various countries, including the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran in 2011.
