Following the tragic incident of the horrifying explosion in Beirut

Lebanese Minister of Culture responds to the letter of Abuzar Ebrahimi-Turkaman

Lebanese Minister of Culture, Abbas Morteza, has responded to the message sent by Head of Islamic Culture and Relation Organization, Mr. Abuzar Ebrahimi Turkaman, sympathizing with the Lebanese people.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the text of this message reads as follows:

Dear Dr. Abuzar Ebrahimi Turkaman,

Head of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Islamic Republic of Iran

Hereby I would like to thank your Excellency for your sympathy with the Lebanese people following the tragic event of explosion and expressing deep feelings, solidarity and standing by our dear country Lebanon, which is enduring hard time that can be overcome only with the will of its people and the help of its friends.

We also appreciate your material and spiritual support for the revitalization of our country, and we welcome any valuable measure that will serve the interests of a free, independent, and sovereign Lebanese government in the face of all ongoing difficulties and challenges.

In particular, we welcome the support and assistance in the field of agriculture and culture, which is one of the most important pillars of the country"s self-reliance and prosperity.

Thank you and Iranian nation for expressing your solidarity and sincere feelings with us.
