Afghan acting Afghan Foreign Minister offered his condolences for the death of Hadi Movafegh Sedehi

The Afghan Acting Foreign Minister in a telephone conversation with Iranian Ambassador to Kabul, expressed his sympathy with the family and colleagues of late Hadi Movafegh Sedehi.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), late Sedehi was acting Cultural Attaché of Islamic Republic of Iran to Kabul and at the same time worked as the Cultural Attache of the Iranian Consulate General in the Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif.

He died on the eve of Ashura in Mazar-e-Sharif and his body was transferred to Iran on Thursday. The Iranian Embassy in Kabul in a statement has offered its condolences for the death of late Hadi Movafegh Sedehi. The statement says, the outstanding efforts of late Sedehi in promoting cultural relations between Iran and Afghanistan will be always remembered with honor and appreciation and his name will be kept always alive on the memory of cultural lovers of two countries.

Hadi movafegh Sedehi was born in 1967 in the northern city of Rasht and worked in a number of cultural and religious organizations of the country in addition to Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
