The commemoration ceremony for the late Hadi Movafegh Sedehi, Iran"s former Cultural Attaché to the Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif was held on September 5 at the Tazeh Abad cemetery in Rasht, at the section specialized for martyrs" family.
According to the Public Relations of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, in the said ceremony, which was held on Friday (September 5) with the recitation of some verses of the Holy Quran and mourning at the burial place of the deceased in Tazeh Abad Cemetery in Rasht, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Mehdi Taskhiri, the Head of the Interreligious and Cultures and Ali Dehgahi, Head of the General Directorate for the Development of Asia-Pacific Cultural Relations, attended on behalf of the Chairman of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
In this ceremony, the message of condolences of country"s cultural personalities including, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Head of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Abuzar Ebrahimi Turkaman and Iranian Consul General in Mazar-e-Sharif, Seyyed Hassan Yahyawi, were read.
