The 5th Cultural Exhibition of the Colorful World was inaugurated in Beijing attended by Iranian Ambassador and Cultural Attaché to china.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization (ICRO), the 5^th Colorful World Cultural Exhibition was hosted by the Beijing Municipality.

The exhibition was attended by countries located alongside of the ancient Silk Road and those taking part in a project called "One Belt One Road". This 6-day cultural event took place in Beijing"s Olympic Park.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, a number of ambassadors from different countries spoke about the importance of cultural relations of their countries with China.

The role of African countries in the exhibition was highlighted by China and Angolan Ambassador was the first speaker in the opening ceremony.

Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to China, Mohammad Keshavarz zadeh, congratulated China for its success in campaign against the Coronavirus and holding this great exhibition and hoped that Iran-China cooperation in various fields will grow further.

He also stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the most important countries in the field of handicrafts, and invited all interested people to visit the Pavilion of Iran in the exhibition.
