Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan in his meeting with the Pakistani Senator and leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan talked about the high positions of two countries in the Islamic World for strengthening unity among Muslims and confronting common threats such as Islamophobia.

According to the Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Mohammad Ali Hoseini said although the Zionist Regime is the main source of instability in the region, some countries have paved the way for further expansion of this occupying regime.

During the meeting also attended by Iranian Cultural Attache to Islamabad and a number of high ranking official of Pakistan"s Jamaat-e-Islami Party, Iranian Ambassador and Siraj Al-Haq, discussed regional developments, Palestinian question and challenges faced by the Islamic World, Afghanistan and Islamophobia.

Mr. Hoseini thanked Jamaat-e-Islami Party and the position taken by its leadership in condemning Islamophobia and explicit opposition to normalization of relations and reconciliation with the Zionist Regime by some countries, said Iran and Pakistan have many things in common and enemies cannot harm our friendly ties.

Iranian Ambassador said the Iranian nation have celebrated the 42^nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in recent days, adding that despite sanctions and threat of enemies, the Iranian people are advancing their aspirations stronger than ever before.
