According to the Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), due to the importance of holding international competition of memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran by the Islamic Republic of Iran and at the request of the Endowment and Charity Organization and cooperation of Egyptian reciters, the competition was held Cairo.

The Egyptian Holy Quran reciters gathered at the Iranian Cultural Mission in Cairo and the competition took place as planed and the video footage of the competition was sent to the Endowment and Charity Organization.

After the competition, participating reciters met with Iranian Cultural Attaché to Cairo and received their presents.
