Iranian Cultural Attaché in Spain, Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi, met with Ms. Tena , President, and Carado Matayana, member of the board of directors of the Spanish Society of Iranian Studies.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), during the meeting, the Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran said the Spanish Association of Iranian Studies is expected to monitor the cultural atmosphere of their country so that whenever they see that someone wants to hijack Iran prominent figures, to prevent such things from happening as much as possible.

He said one of the ways to prevent such things is to promote knowledge of your scientific community about Iranian prominent and world-renowned personalities adding that holding virtual gatherings and webinars can help for better understanding and knowledge of Spanish literary community about Iran"s rich culture and its great personalities.

Ms. Tena Vardosanitze, President of the Association, by acknowledging the points made by Iranian top cultural envoy to Madrid said before the coronavirus pandemic, we had many cultural activities adding that we try to re- activate our cultural programs by holding virtual meetings and webinars.

Crardo Matayana, a member of the board of directors and Secretary of the Association of Iranian Studies of Spain said, "We will give our plans to the scientific committee of the association and take their opinions and will keep you posted about their views.

In conclusion of the meeting, Ms. Tena Vardosanitze, President of the Association, talked about a report on the activities of the Association to be submitted to the annual Congress of Association to be held next May and said that the articles submitted to the Association are on the stage of final review and selection.
