The last day of the Folk Music Festival in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Folkourist band "Rastak" from Iran performed and shined up.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), this festival, which was held from November 9 to 11 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Folk bands from Bangladesh, Iran, Brazil, Tibet, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Denmark and Mali, performed music of their countries. The festival was held at an Army stadium with a capacity of more than 10,000 spectators.
The festival was hosted by Sun Communication and the private television network "Maasranga". Meanwhile, institutions such as Dhaka Bank, Isfahani Business Group and 12 other companies sponsored the program.
On the last day of this festival, bands from Bangladesh, Denmark, Iran, India and Mali performed their music.
According to diplomats, foreign guests, officials and cultural figures of Bangladesh, who were present at the ceremony among foreign music bands, the performance of the Iranian band in terms of the artistic form and content was the most attractive.
The Iranian band "Rastak" performed several folklore music related to Khuzestan, Hormozgan, Kurdistan, Kerman and other ethnic groups. The constant response and encouragement of Bangladeshi audiences, along with many foreign nationals, was the evidence of this fascination.
Asaduzzaman Noor, Minister of Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh, Shahid Alam, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Mr. Vaezi, Ambassador and Seyyed Moussa Hosseini, cultural advisor, And Seyyed Khalil Javadi, Iranian Cultural Expert in Bangladesh, Artists and various cultural and artistic characters were among those present at the concert hall during the performance of "Rastak".

According to the announcement, after the performance of Iranian band, the ambassador and cultural advisor of Iran along with a cultural experts in Bangladesh and some of the Iranian students attending the ceremony, welcomed the members of the Rastak musical band.
Ambassador of Iran said: good reception of Bangladeshs people and artists in various Iranian art categories, such as films, music and theatre has shown the interest and deep historical and cultural relations between these two countries. He expressed hope that the exchange of these artistic groups between the two countries would increase.
