Thinakaran daily published in Sri Lankan capital Colombo has published an article on Iran"s share of world civilization.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), through efforts of Iranian Cultural Mission to Sri Lanka, the Daily Thinakaran in its article has elaborated on some aspects of Iranian ancient culture and civilization and country"s contemporary contribution to world art and culture.

  The article while referring to the concrete portion of Iranian culture and civilization, has numerated some of Iran"s tourist attractions and has briefed its audience about Iran.

Sites such as Persepolis, Chogha Zanbil Ziggurat, Babak Castle, Stars Valey, Nasirulmolk Mosque in Shiraz, Anzali Lagoon, Imam Square in Isfahan, Chalus Road and Irrigation system of Shushtar are brought up in the Sri Lankan daily Thinakaran.
