An international gathering titled "Iran in Chinese Literature and China in Iranian Literature" is due to be held on March 2020 in Beijing University.

 According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Iranian Cultural Attaché to Beijing, Abbasali Vafaee, in a meeting with officials and professors of Persian Language Department of Beijing University, exchanged views on expansion of cultural ties and cooperation between the two countries.

The Iranian cultural representative to China, thanked lecturers and managers of Persian Language Department of Beijing University for their support for holding the international gathering of "Iran in Chinese Literature and China in Iranian Literature" and said coordination has been made with Iranian universities and two universities of Allameh Tabatabee and Al- Zahra(AS) have agreed to take part at this conference and will dispatch their lecturers to the gathering.

 He said a number of prominent professors of these two universities will be assigned to present paper and deliver speech at the forthcoming seminar.

The chairman of the Persian Language Department of Beijing University for said 15 Chinese professors are due to attend the gathering scheduled for March 2010.
