Iranian Cultural Attaché to Iraq, speaking at a commemoration ceremony organized to honor the family members of "Martyrs of Resistance" said Martyrs of Resistance from other countries and Iraq who lost their life in fighting against Daesh are the linchpin of unity between Iranian and Iraqi People.
According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), during the ceremony held last week in the Iraqi holy city of Karbala attended by Iraqi military officials and Chairman of Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee Hojatoleslam Ahmadi, Iranian Cultural Attaché, Hojatoleslam Gholamreza Abazari while welcoming the families of martyrs said martyrs are a source of pride for us adding that we also feel honored by families of martyrs who have brought up such children.
Dr. Abazari talking about the special attention paid by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to martyrs families said, in Islamic Republic of Iran the highest person in charge of the country attaches great importance to families of martyrs adding that Ayatollah Khamenei in his public meetings devotes a special time to see and talk to family members of martyrs and pay visits to families have lost 4 or 5 martyrs.
He said the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution also pays great attention to promotion of the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom and books written about memories of martyrs and have written comments on such books.
Iranian cultural Attaché to Baghdad said some of the memoirs of martyrs have been translated into Arabic and I recommend you to read such books to become more familiar with culture of martyrs.
He said martyrs are the source of unity between Iranian and Iraqi people adding that Iraqi martyrs and martyrs from other nations fought alongside Iranian combatants who also fell martyrs and since these martyrs lost their life together in Iraq in fight against Daesh, we should be assured that nothing can separate them from each other.
Talking about Arbaeen Rituals, Hojatoleslam Abazari said we pay tribute to martyrs and as we say Imam Hussein bring us together we also believe that martyrs are a source of unity among us and we will follow their path.
He said paying tribute to martyrs of Iraqi army, law enforcement forces and people"s mobilization forces during the occasion of Arbaeen, adds more glory to martyrs cause and shows that we honor martyrs from all walks of life.
Emphasizing the sublime position of the martyrs, Iranian Cultural Attaché to Iraq said as the Supreme Leader has said, paying tribute to martyrs and keeping their memories alive is as important as martyrdom itself.
Abazari by paying tribute to fathers, mothers and wife of martyrs said the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in one of his public meeting described ties between Iranian and Iraqi people very deep and strong.
At the conclusion of the gathering, 40 families of martyrs were praised and glorified by the organizer of the event being held in one of the hotels in the holy city of Karbala.
