Iranian Cultural Attaché to Manila in meeting Filipino Foreign Minister while attending the ceremony held on the Sri Lankan National Day in Manila discussed ways of promoting cultural and academic relations between Iran and the Philippines.
According to Public Relation Department of Islamic Culture and Relations organization (ICRO), the Filipino Foreign Minister speaking at the commemoration of National Day of Sri Lanka while congratulating the occasion called for expansion of his country"s relations with Colombo and said there are good potentials for cooperation among neighboring and Asian countries.
On the sideline of the gathering, Iranian Cultural Attaché, Morteza Sabori met the Filipino Foreign Minister and called for promotion of bilateral cultural relations.
The Filipino Foreign Minister talking about the cultural importance of the two countries called for expansion of bilateral cultural ties and hoped that cultural officials of two countries to take further steps in this direction.
Iranian Cultural Attaché also met a number of foreign diplomats attending the festivity of Sri Lankan National Day in Manila, including Lebanese, Iraqi, Belarus, Finland and Vatican representatives and discussed issues of mutual interests.
