The Leader of the Friday Community of Republic of Azerbaijan, Haj Elqar Ebrahim Ughlu in an interview with Mosavat Website said the objective of the US government for imposing cruel sanctions against Iran is to create hard time for Iranian People and turn them against their government and encourage them to seek government change.  

According to Public Relation Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), he said last week a US Presidential candidate, Berny Sanders and a group of US political figures had a meeting with President Ronal Trump and urged him to partially lift the sanctions against Iran creating a possibility that in communing days the Trump Administration to consider the case.

The Azeri politician said the damaging impact of American sanctions against Iran was evident even before outbreak of Coronavirus and White House insistence to continue the pressure against Tehran, while the virus has become epidemic show that Washington is pursuing a hostile and very ugly policy towards Islamic Republic of Iran.

The progressive American politicians referred to trump to pursue him to change the course but he gave a vague response to their suggestion.

 The Trump Administration instead of lifting the sanctions has imposed additional ones against Tehran with aim of creating pessimism among the Iranians against their government and make them revolt against the establishment adding that its quite evident that the life for millions of Iranian people have become intolerable to tolerate and it can be said that the economic war waged by the US government is not targeting the Iranian rulers but it is hurting the general public in Iran.

Haj Elqar Ebrahim Ughlu, the Chairman of Friday Community in Republic of Azerbaijan said many people have written about the illegality of the sanctions abut according to Trump"s policy the one who is stronger, is also entitled to right.

 He has said that by worsening of Coronavirus breakout globally it is expected that US government to reconsider its positions towards Iran.
