The 60^th policymaking and coordination meeting of the Council of interfaith and Cultural dialogue was held under the chairmanship the head Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Mr. Abuzar Ebrahimi Turkaman.

According to the Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Rlations Organization (ICRO), the meeting was held at the ICRO"s Headquarters and attended by a number of council members.

The Chairman of the ICRO in his opening remarks paid tribute to Martyred General Haj Qasem Soleimani, late Ayatollah Taskhiri and late Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi and called for continued cooperation between Iran and Russia on divine religions based on the signed memorandum of cultural understanding.

Then council members elaborated on their views about ways of advancing the objectives of the Policymaking Council, especially involving university professors and scholars in interfaith discourses.

Reviewing the activities and initiatives taken by the council during the outbreak of Coronavirus in international level and policies of the Council in the next Iranian calendar year, were also discussed during the meeting.
