The head Iran"s Culture House in Peshawar has spoken about holding of a quarterly course of Persian language classes for Pakistani journalists including newspapers and satellite TV channels reporters, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), an intimate meeting was held between Mehran Eskandarian, Iran"s Cultural Attaché and person in charge of Iranian Cultural House in Peshawar and Saif al-Islam, former head of the Association of Journalists and some editors of Pakistani newspapers and satellite channels in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Emphasizing the role and mission of the media in today"s world of communication, Eskandarian said Publishing news based on realities of society is a divine and human duty in the world of fabricating facts.
he said committed and honest journalists can act as a strong bridge for rapprochement and promotion of interests of the people of the two countries.
Confirming the statements of the head of the Iranian Cultural House in Peshawar, Pakistani journalists said sending various art, cultural, craftsmen, cinema and theater groups can also play a significant role in the acquaintance and closeness of the two nations of Iran and Pakistan. The also emphasized the importance and necessity of exchange visits by two countries journalists and spoke of their interest and eagerness to visit Iran.
