Iran-Kazakhstan relations have been brotherly and friendly throughout history, said the Head of the Department of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Nowruzbai Haji Taghan oli, during a meeting with Iran"s Cultural Attaché in Kazakhstan.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Ali Akbar Talebi-Matin, met with Nowruzbai Haji Taghan oli, Grand Mufti and Head of the Department Kazakh Muslims Office, at the Mufti"s Office.

Iran-Kazakhstan relations are developing in various fields, and senior officials of the two countries have a serious will to develop bilateral relations, including in the field of religious activities, Talebi-Matin said in his talks with Kazakhstan"s top religious official.

The Republic of Kazakhstan, by initiating the Congress of Traditional and World Religions, has shown that spiritual affairs and proper dialogue between religions are important in the current world, said Iranian cultural envoy.

He said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, by holding interreligious talks every year under the title of Islamic unity and emphasizing the rapprochement of Islamic school of thoughts, has shown that the growth and development of Muslim countries depends on the unity, integrity, cohesion and solidarity of all Muslims."

Iran and Kazakhstan are two neighboring countries through the Caspian Sea and have always had friendly and brotherly relations with each other, said Nowruzbai Haji Taghan oli.

The Grand Mufti of Kazakhstan, while announcing his readiness to cooperate with Iranian Cultural Attaché said we are trying to make more use two countries" potentials by mutual cooperation.
