Iranian Ambassador and Cultural Attaché meet the Iraqi Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization

Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad, Eraj Masjedi and Cultural Attaché, Gholamreza Abazari met and held talks with Iraqi Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Sheikh Khaled Al Attiya.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Iraqi official, briefing his Iranian gusts on the issues related to dispatching of Iraqi pilgrims to Hajj both by air and land said his organization has branch offices in all across the country.

Sheikh Attiya talking about Iranian pilgrims visiting the holy shrines in Iraq said due to existence of the mausoleums of the infallible members of the holy Household of The Prophet of Islam in Iraq, Baghdad and Tehran enjoy good and friendly relations adding that it is needless to say about the benevolent feelings toward Islamic Republic of Iran by Iraqi nations.

Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad for his part talked about the mutual cooperation between Iran and Iraq in many areas including political, cultural and scientific fields said strong religious and said, cultural and social ties between the two nations is very deep rooted adding that Iranian side is hopeful of expansion of bilateral relations with its western neighbor  in all areas.
