In a joint venture, Iran and Iraq are to make a movie about crimes committed by Daesh

  Iraqi Minister of Culture, Tourism and Historical Monuments said Baghdad and Tehran intend to make a movies depicting crimes and atrocities committed by the terrorist group Daesh.

According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO). The Iraqi Minister of Culture following his meeting with Iranian Cultural Attaché to Baghdad said Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq are thinking of production a film about their joint fight against the Daesh terrorist group.

 He added that Iranian film industry has made many religious related films such as "Mohammad (SA) Messenger of God" and "Be Vaghte Sham" and both of them have been screened in Iraqi cinemas.

Abdolamir Al Hmdani, said in his meeting with Iranian Cultural Attaché Hojatoleslam Gholam Reza Abazari, we also talked about making an opera about the history and culture of the two historic and ancient nations of Iraq and Iran.  

 He also said a delegation is due to be sent from Iran to Iraq for restoration of a historical monument called Taq Kasra also known as Ayvan Madain located in south of Baghdad.

The Iraqi Minister of Culture, Tourism and Historical Monument said as the said monument is part of Iranian pre-Islam era, we expect Islamic Republic of Iran to contribute to restoration work of this historical site.
