According to Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), participants contested on various sections such as writing short stories, poems, paper and visual arts and winners were awarded in a ceremony held at the Iranian Cultural Mission to Damascus.

The event took place by assistance extended by Association of Palestinian Writers and Poets, Associations of Visual Arts of Palestine, Coalitions of Palestinian Resistance Groups and the Irano- Palestinian Friendship Society.

Iranian Cultural Attaché to Syrian Capital, Abulfazl Salhinia, said commemoration of the Holy Quds should not be confined to demonstrations, gatherings and speeches but should also include other areas such as art and culture.
