Abdullah Abdullah Pays homage to Soleimani

 The Afghan Government Chief Executive, visited Iranian Embassy in Kabul and signed the memorial notebook opened for the martyred top Iranian General Qasem Soleymani.

According to Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organizations (ICRO), Abdullah Abdullah while meeting the Iranian Ambassador to Kabul, Bahdor Aminian, signed the notebook of Martyr Soleimani.

The number 2 man in Afghan government had previously expressed his sorrow over the killing of top Iranian general in a criminal attack by the US government.

Abdullah praised Iran for assistance and aid given to Afghanistan and said Islamic Republic of Iran is a neighbor and ally of Afghanistan during the years of Jihad and reconstruction and has been host to millions of Afghan refugees.

He went on to say that Afghanistan as a victim of violence and terrorism calls for de-escalation of tensions in regional and international relations and hoped that recent events have no negative impact in Tehran- Kabul relations and cooperation.

The Afghan national security Advisor Hamdullah Moheb, in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Kabul said from Afghan soil no attack will be launched against any country.
