Webinar on the Status of Women in the Quran

The webinar is scheduled to take place on May 28th, 2023. We would be honored to have the participation of esteemed scholars from the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the University of Nairobi to share their perspectives on the status of women in the Holy Quran in reference to Kenyan society with Academia from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

We propose that the webinar be structured as a series of presentations, followed by a moderated discussion. The presentations can be made by speakers from both Iran and Kenya, covering different aspects of the topic. The webinar will provide an excellent opportunity for scholars from different backgrounds and countries to share their knowledge and experiences, leading to a better understanding of the status of women in the Holy Quran.
