MINUTES MEETING AT ICCKL, 30TH MARCH, 2024. 02:30 PM VISIT OF DR SHAHRIARI, SECRETARY GENERAL OF TAQRIB MAZAHIB ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN TO KUALA LUMPUR

The following members were present:

Cikgu Azmi's Proposed Initiatives for the Muslim Community

1. Muslim Scientist Conference and Collaboration:

  • Organize a conference specifically for Muslim scientists (e.g., doctors, engineers) to foster collaboration and address fragmentation within the Muslim scientific community.

  • Reclaim leadership (qiblah) for the Muslim world by focusing on self-reliance and Islamic values.
  • Organize a large demonstration for Al-Quds Day on April 5th.
  • Advocate for strong international action, including a peacekeeping force for Gaza and sanctions against Israel.
  • Promote ethical Islamic virtues to young people and counter negative Western influences.
  • Emphasize the importance of strong Islamic family traditions.

Collaboration with Iran:

  • Explore collaboration with Iranian NGOs on various initiatives.
  • Dr. Shahriari (Iranian representative) expressed willingness to share expertise and resources.

Official Invitation Requested:

  • Dr. Shahriari requested an official invitation to participate in the proposed events.

Triangle Concept for Family Strengthening:

  • Cikgu Azmi proposed a "triangle concept" for Dr. Shahriari's Family Conference, focusing on the interconnectedness of family, mosque, and madrasah (school).

Mim Project in Iran:

  • Dr. Arzani mentioned the "Mim Project" in Iran, which focuses on the connection between family (Manzil), mosque (Masjid), and madrasah.
