On 30th October 2024 the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Iran Nairobi Dr. Ali Pourmarjan visited Ummah University, the first Islamic institution of higher learning in Kenya, 70 kilometers away from Nairobi and had a fruitful meeting with Dr. Ali Hassan Khamanah, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Ummah University, at their Kajiado campus. They discussed potential collaborations, including faculty and student exchange programs, joint organization of seminars and conferences, as well as scholarship opportunities. This engagement marks a promising step towards enhancing academic and cultural ties.
