The first human dignity conference - Human Dignity and the Challenges of Family in the Contemporary World
Regarding the role and function of Muslim academicians in the realization of Macro-Pattern of “The One Single Community”, the Center for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought intends to set the ground to achieve this crucially significant objective. Henceforth, a series of conferences are planned for the academic scholars and researchers to present their recent research studies on the needs and challenges of Muslims in the contemporary world.
The main theme of these periodical conferences is to maintain and improve the human dignity of Muslims in the contemporary world. In every period, we intend to deal with one macro challenging issue that a Muslim civilian needs to cope with to be able to live in the contemporary world. The academia, first and foremost, endeavors to solve these and similar issues in the light of the realization of human dignity. And next to provide ways to achieve the Koranic goal: “The One Single Community”.
In this regard, the overall encompassing title of these conference series will be “The One Single Community and Human Dignity”. The main theme of the first conference will be “Human Dignity and the Challenges of the Family in the Contemporary World” (November 2024).
