Iranian student team Participate  in the international student sports competitions of the Symbiosis International Cultural Center (SISSM) Pune with the support of the  Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, India

The Symbiosis International University Sports and Cultural Competitions have begun with the participation of Iranian students and participants from different countries. Iranian students from Pune to participate in the Symbiosis International Cultural Center International Student Sports Competitions (SISSM) this year 2024, the  Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai has supported their participation in this program.

 The tournament is organized in two categories: Indoor sports including badminton, table tennis, swimming and chess will be held from November 4 to 6, 2024,

 Outdoor sports including basketball, volleyball and football will be held from December 12 to 21, 2024,

 On November 4, 2024, in the final match of the tennis competition, Mr. Rigi from the Iranian team won second place. Also, on November 6, 2024, Mr. Seyed Zaman Mousavi from Iran won first place in the billiards competition and Ms. Yasmin Fathollahi won first place in the women's swimming competition in three different events.

Other Iranian students also participated in these competitions but did not win any places. All these competitions were held with Mr. Rigi as Iran’s representative at Symbiosis University.

It should be noted that competitions in football, volleyball and basketball, which are popular, will be held in the future. Teams from different countries are preparing and practicing, and the Iranian team is also practicing and preparing in the same way.
