Visited Malaysian Han Studies

Dr. Habibreza Arzani, Cultural Attaché, and Dr Mohsen Sarraf, Education Attaché from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Malaysia, visited MALAYSIAN HAN STUDIES

On July 9, 2024, Malaysian Han Studies (MAHANS) warmly welcomed Dr. Habibreza Arzani, Cultural Attaché, and Dr. Mohsen Sarraf, Education Attaché, from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Malaysia, along with other distinguished guests. The visit featured a comprehensive tour led by Ms Song Poh Lan, the Acting CEO and Principal of MAHANS, showcasing the institution’s commitment to cultural and educational exchange.

Guests were greeted with flowers made by Early Childhood 3 class students and received detailed insights into the vision, mission, and values of MAHANS. They explored the Statue of Confucius and his students, experienced traditional Chinese musical instrument performances, and participated in calligraphy writing demonstrations. The event concluded with a gift presentation and a conventional Chinese dish-themed vegetarian lunch.

The visit not only fostered a deeper understanding and appreciation of cultural traditions but also strengthened the bond of the global community, reflecting the collaborative spirit between MAHANS and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Malaysia
