Following administrative correspondence and intensive online discussions, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai and the Mahatma Gandhi  intarashtriya viswa vidyalaya - varda maharastra

The head of Culture House of Iran in Mumbai said about the memorandum: "Cultural memorandums between the Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Indian universities and educational institutions are a roadmap for the continuation of scientific and cultural cooperation."
