The ancient Nowruz celebration ceremony with the efforts of Mehta Trust on the second day of the new solar year in Kama Bagh (a place in the center of Mumbai) in the presence of Mr. Abulfazl Alikhani, the Honourable Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, Mr. Amanollah Sayadi, Director of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai , a large number of resident parsis and Iranian Zoroastrians in Mumbai , as well as members of other religions, were held in a friendly and happy atmosphere.
In this ceremony, Mr. Alikhani, congratulate and happy Nowruz, expressed her hope that the new year will be a year with remarkable successes for all Iranians and Persians.
In the continuation of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the successful members and sponsors of the function by the honorable consul general and the Director of the Culture House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai. In this ceremony, Indian artists such as Amitabhachan Duplicate and others performed . a retired judge of the Supreme Court of India came with an old nostalgic car, which was very interesting. In the continuation of the ceremony, one of the fashion design artists explained about the old Zoroastrian clothes and sari (a type of Indian dress). In addition, in this event, various booths were set up for commercial purposes, which included the sale of different sarees (a type of Indian dress), beautiful dolls, various types of cheese, rhinestones, etc.
