Dear Sir,
It is more than more than seven decades that the oppressed Palestinian people, especially women and children are facing horrific crimes at the hands of the Zionist criminals. However, due to the impunity of these criminals, their crimes have entered a new stage since October 2023 and once again by violating the peremptory norm of international law and the principle of prohibition of blind attack on civilian areas and the use of prohibited weapons such as bombs containing white phosphorus, cluster bombs and explosive weapons containing dense metal particles and with the participation and support of criminal states such as the United States, France, Germany, England, etc., they have created another human tragedy and caused the martyrdom of thousands of oppressed people, including about five thousand innocent children and women.
Unfortunately, in recent days, the Minister of Defense of the Zionist regime has ordered the complete blockade of Gaza and as a result, people’s access to electricity, food, water, gas, and even the Internet in Gaza has been completely cut off. Moreover, the Zionists have repeatedly attacked schools, shelters, and hospitals, and have destroyed medical facilities, service centers, food stores, and bakeries and brutally killed oppressed people. Countless journalists have also been killed and the oppressed people of Gaza are forced to migrate.
In general, in this recent war in Gaza, the Zionist regime has violated the fundamental rules of International Humanitarian Law at a very high level, and the Zionist military forces have committed genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. According to Article 8 of the Statute of the International Criminal Court, due to the clear violation of the above-mentioned principles and laws, the instructors, perpetrators, and leaders of the recent war in Gaza should be introduced as war criminals.
It was expected that the earlier resolutions passed - especially following the 2014 Gaza War and the brutal killing of the oppressed people, the gross and systematic violation of the Geneva Conventions, the Zionist regime committing war crimes listed in Article 8 of the Statute of the International Criminal Court, and the report of the UN Fact Finding Commission - would have some effects and the criminals were punished, nevertheless, while condemning these crimes, we demand:
1. By taking into consideration the old and recent crimes, these criminal perpetrators and their assistants in committing these crimes should be tried and punished as war and genocide criminals.
2. Considering the inefficiency of the Security Council and the impasse it is facing as a result of the oppressive right of veto, the General Assembly approves the resolution of the Alliance for Peace to save the oppressed people of Palestine from these crimes and recognizes their right to self-determination and return to their motherland.
3. Immediate and effective action should be taken to end the siege, force a ceasefire, and send humanitarian aid to Gaza.
