COMMEMORATION OF 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE IN ZIMBABWE

Commemoration of 16 days of activism against gender based-violence seminar under the theme: UNITE! INVEST TO PREVENT VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS

The program was developed to assist the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, which was led by civil society and started in 2008 under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General. UNITE, which is run by UN Women, implores governments, the media, the private sector, women's organizations, civil society, and the UN system to work together to combat the widespread epidemic of violence against women and girls.  This year's global theme is, "UNITE! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls," for the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence, which will be taking events from November 25, 2023, to December 10, 2023.
