The Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe (January 27 to February 2, 2023) hosted the Qur'an recitation training course that was conducted by Dr. Hussein Chaghomi, an expert in Quranic recitation from the Islamic Republic of Iran. 

The course was held at Fatima Zahra (as) college in Harare. The course, which drew 29 young men and women from all over Zimbabwe, was meant to further Quran recitation competitions to be held in the Islamic Republic.This course, which was attended by 29 young men and women from all over Zimbabwe, was held to improve the recitation level of the participants. 

This course was well received and all the participants expressed confidence that these courses will continue. Sheikh Abdullah Mkwinja, the Director of Fatima Zahra and a leading Shia Cleric and top member of Ahul Bait Zimbabwe expressed his gratitude to Iran for facilitating the course, which he said will raise the standards of recitation within the Ahlul Bait and the Shia community at large. cultural counsoler at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed satisfaction with the level of participation in the recitations, noting that Iran stands ready to assist the members of the Ahlul Bait in Zimbabwe in sharpening their knowledge of quran recitation.
