CULTURAL COUNSELLOR MEETS SOCIAL INFLUENCERS ORGANISATION OF ZIMBABWE HEAD, REITERATES SUPPORT FOR PALESTINE
The Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe this Wednesday (12 June 2024) received the head of the Social Influencers Organisation of Zimbabwe, Rev. Father Steven Chikondamo at the Cultural Centre of the Embassy of Iran offices where both parties reiterated their support for the Palestinian struggle.

The Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe this Wednesday (12 June 2024) received the head of the Social Influencers Organization of Zimbabwe, Rev. Father Steven Chikondamo, at the Cultural Centre of the Embassy of Iran offices, where both parties reiterated their support for the Palestinian struggle.
They also condemned, in the strongest terms, the arbitrary killing of innocent Palestinian children and women by the aggressive occupation forces of apartheid Israel.
Mr Bakhtiyar and Rev Father Chikondamo, who also serves as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church, further agreed to establish dialogue processes through seminars between the Cultural Centre, the Social Influencers Organization and other related organisations.
The dialogue seminars are meant to lay a strong foundation for closer cultural cooperation and mutual understanding between the two organisations in particular and Zimbabwe and Iran in general.
The Cultural Counsellor then took Father Chikondamo on a tour of the Cultural Centre library, where he donated a copy of a book titled: Islamic Revolution: Foundations and Characteristics, that was published by the Cultural Center in late 2023.
