Iran Partners Zimbabwe Tertiary Students Association To Promote Awareness Of Iran As A Great Nation
The Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe will, from March 4th to March 8th, 2024, partner with the Zimbabwe Tertiary Students Association (ZTSA) in hosting a student cohort that will interrogate the history, politics, religion, and culture of the countries in the Middle East.
The Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zimbabwe will, from March 4th to March 8th, 2024, partner with the Zimbabwe Tertiary Students Association (ZTSA) in hosting a student cohort that will interrogate the history, politics, religion, and culture of the countries in the Middle East.
The Palestinian Embassy in Zimbabwe, through its ambassador, will also participate in this cohort. The cohort will provide students with an opportunity to learn about the Middle East and the conflicts that are taking place there. This cohort will be a valuable resource for students and will help them become more informed about the Middle East.
The Zimbabwe Tertiary Students Association is a coalition of student leaders from various tertiary institutions in the country. It is a network of professional students’ boards and students’ representatives’ boards in Zimbabwe.
The Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Hamid Bakhtiyar, said in a meeting with the leader of the Students Association, Mr. Tinashe Ngirandi, and his delegation, that the cohort will help the Cultural Centre of the Embassy of Iran to fully put Iran on the Zimbabwe grand stage through the day long presentation he will do on Iran’s socio, political, economic, cultural, scientific, and technological achievements over the last 45 years since the successful proclamation of the Islamic Revolution.
The meeting was held today, February 19, 2024) at the Cultural Center offices. While looking to further cooperation with the student body, he said that he will try to forge linkages between the Zimbabwe student body and the corresponding student and youth bodies in Iran. The cohort will bring together media and law students from media schools in Harare.
