On the occasion of the blessed birthday of Hazrat Fatima Zahra, peace be upon her, and its parallel with the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of Sardar Soleimani, a meeting was held with the participation of the Philippine-Iranian Women's Friendship Association with the title “Love and Devotion to Lady Fatimah (a.s.): Impetus for the Martyrdom of Commander Qasem Sulleimani, the Zahraie Commander” "With the presence of influential cultural personalities and active institutions in the field of women and family, was held on Wednesday, 13th of Dey, from 2 to 5 pm Manila time and 9:30 to 12:30 Iran time, in the Cultural Center meeting hall.

 

First of all, Mr. Abdolmajid Abolghasemi, Cultural Counselor, while welcoming the honorable ambassador and influential cultural figures and activists in the field of women and family, the arrival of 2024 AD and the birth anniversary of the Lady of the Two Worlds, Hazrat Fatima, peace be upon her, and Mother's Day to all mothers. He congratulated and honored the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of Sardar Soleimani. During his speech, he said, "We gathered today to honor the memory of two great personalities, one is Lady Fatima the guide, and the other is her sincere follower and supporter, Lieutenant General Hajj Qasem Sulleimani."

This occasion is a great opportunity to think, to learn everything we can from the life and career of Hazrat Zahra (a.s.), just as Martyr Soleimani took the example of Hazrat Fatima (a.s.) and put sincerity at the forefront of his life and try to learn from their successful life to impact both our material and spiritual realities.

 

 

 

Further, the Cultural Counselor, while appreciating the cooperation of the Philippines-Iran Women's Friendship Association in holding this meeting and the presence of influential cultural figures, invited Mr. Esmaeil Zadeh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic, to deliver a speech.

 

The ambassador of our country also praised and thanked the Almighty God and said, "I am delighted to meet you on the auspicious birthday of Hazrat Fatima (s.a.) and the commemoration of General Hajj Qassem Soleimani." Because our meeting is not an ordinary meeting, but an important reminder for all free men and women to stand up against oppression and arrogance like these two noble and great characters who showed in their lives.

Hazrat Fatima (s.a.), the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), has a very special status as a link between prophethood and the leadership of the infallible Imams. His short but meaningful life was devoted to the support and protection of the freedom of human beings from the slavery of others, which was determined by God.

Hazrat Fatimah (s.a.) was a symbol of piety and servitude to God since childhood. As a young girl, she was always by her father's side to comfort him, who was the target of the infidels' enmity and intrigues. As the wife of Imam Ali (a.s.), the successor of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), she stood up with the will to defend the province and the Imamate, which led to her martyrdom. As a mother, she raised her children with piety and affection, guiding them towards God and service to His creation.

 

 

 

 

He went on to say: General Hajj Qassem Soleimani, who was brought up in the school of Imam Khomeini, may God's mercy be upon him, and Ayatollah Khamenei, based on the principle of Ashura of Imam Hussein (a.s.), emphasized on refining the self and piety, This commander, with the love and devotion he had for God and the Ahlul Bayt, especially Hazrat Fatimah, succeeded in attaining the lofty status of martyrdom."

By guarding the system based on the sovereignty of God and the justice and equality of humans, Sardar Soleimani spent his life fighting global arrogance led by America. General Soleimani inspired Iraqis, Syrians, Afghans, Yemenis, Lebanese, Iranians and Palestinians to rise up against the aggressors due to his deep connection with God and the Ahlul Bayt. His deep understanding of the true identity of man made him transcend labels and thus protect vulnerable people from aggressors regardless of whether they were Christian, Muslim, Iyzadi, Sunni or Shia.

Under the leadership of General Qassem Soleimani, the ISIS group was defeated and the plan of the United States to conquer the region and disturb the image of Islam was thwarted.

Four years ago on this day, the United States martyred Major General Haj Qassem Soleimani, believing that he would destroy the axis of resistance created by him. However, not only did this axis of resistance not collapse, it has become stronger today.

 

 

 

 

The myth of the invincibility of world superpowers was shattered due to the efforts of martyr al-Quds Sardar Soleimani. Today, we are witnessing the united stand of the people in resisting the genocide crimes of America through its military arm, the Zionist state of Israel.

With his sincere love for God and Hazrat Fatima (s.a.) and aversion to oppression and arrogance, he provoked many people to believe in themselves and their God-given abilities and stand firm against oppression.

Sardar Soleimani's life, which was decorated with great feats of courage and resistance against terrorism, manifested the great power of faith in God and guaranteed the defeat of the aggressors.

I am confident that our esteemed speakers will talk more about these issues, so I conclude with the hope that our meeting today will contribute to the spread of peace and justice in the world.

And Mrs. Gloria Dumia, the wife of the former Philippine ambassador to Iran and one of the founding members of the Filipino-Iranian Women's Friendship Association, from the cooperation of the Cultural Center of I.R.Iran in holding this meeting to learn more about the great personality of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (s.a.) and Sardar Soleimani expressed his gratitude and the ceremony ended. The screening of a film on the occasion of the biography of Hazrat Zahra (s.a.), and videos of the martyrdom of Sardar Soleimani were among the other programs of this meeting, and at the end, guests were then treated to a blessed meal in honor of Hazrat Zahra (s.a.).
